What's your spec? - Resto, Enhance offspec.
Briefly describe why you've chosen this spec, and what role you intend to fill in a group or raid. - I've been healing ever since I dinged 80 on this shaman. It was originally to be my alt, as I was a warrior tank. I wanted to experience things from the other side of the line, so to speak. I chose a resto shaman because it offers flexible and powerful healing, with good single target, aoe, and spot healing capabilities. That and shooting green healing lasers at people to keep them alive rocks. But once I started healing I fell in love, and I never looked back. I've been healing ever since and loving every moment of it.
I've healed through pretty much all the content in Wrath, except at the very end of ICC. I've tank healed when we didn't have enough tank healers, and raid healed which is what I ended up doing most of the time. I've lead raids and was promoted to healing leader in Those Guys, and I've acquainted myself with the strengths and weaknesses of every healing spec. I even made a holy pally alt and am working on a druid just so I have more experience with either.
I enjoy the challenges presented to a healer, and I'm very confident in my abilities to face any situation that the wow developers may dream up. I pride myself in being able to use the right heal at the right time on the right person, keeping a tank up with that crutch heal, healing the melee up fast, pumping out massive heals when needed, and doing a little dance when not.
As far as my healing style goes, the WoL parses probably speak more about it than I can, but generally I'll chain heal the melee or grouped range if there's aoe damage, spot heal with lhw and hw depending on damage, and always try to keep tidal waves up for faster hw and more lhw crits. In a pinch I'll tank heal with riptide hw x 3 and put out heavy throughput at the expense of mana. Speaking of mana I'm quite good at adjusting my mana management based on the requirement of the particular encounter, and any problems are quickly rectified. My healing style is very flexible, and I will react very quickly to damage. I'm also pretty good at pre-casting heals based on timed events, for instance I'll be sure to queue up a big hw to land right after an impale from Gormok. I am also always aware of my surroundings, and am quite good at avoiding fires and not get caught in slimes and such. Such awareness is also necessary when picking the optimal target for a chain heal in order not to waste the bounces, which I am usually able to accomplish.
I also have a decent enhancement set, mostly icc gear. I haven't had a chance to play enhancement much except in 5 mans, but I've kept in practice on target dummies and such. The few times I do get to dps I can put out decent if not spectacular dps, in the 7k range. While not as enjoyable as healing, I do like dpsing, and if required would approach it with gusto. I also have a elemental set in the bank should it become necessary for me to switch specs.
Do you have any scheduling conflicts that would prevent you from raiding on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings? - None. JWI's schedule is pretty much the same as Those Guys', which I've had near 100% attendence. I think I've missed 1 raid in my time there.
Give us a little history about yourself and your past guild experience. Be as lengthy or as concise as you feel is best. - I originally started playing not too long after Vanilla WoW came out. Eventually I got into some raiding, but not too seriously, doing a few MC and some ZG when it came out. Then I stopped playing after BWL was released, and didn't pick the game back up until just before Wrath came out.
I rerolled on Turalyon because it was an EST server and had a good horde-alliance balance (having come from a lopsided pvp realm this seemed pretty important). I originally didn't intend to raid much, but did get a taste when I was invited to Synergy, a casual raiding guild. Well, my appetite was wet, and eventually I felt like I wanted to see more, so I joined Those Guys last September. I've stayed with them since. Unfortunately we've lost a lot of people recently and rebuilding wasn't successful, so TG will not be raiding 25s anymore.
What, specifically, is your pre-BC raiding experience? - ZG, MC up to Ragnaros, never did go in a rag kill because I didn't have fire resist gear at the time, Onyxia
What is your TBC raiding experience? - None, didn't playing during TBC
What is your WotLK raiding experience? - Naxx, Maly (never did kill him on 25 though...), Uld (with 10 man drake), ToC/GC (insanity on 10, 4/5 on 25), ICC (Up to Sindragosa on 10, First wing + fester, rot, princes on 25)
Computer type and age? We only ask this because older computers cannot handle raiding environments and having 24 people alive instead of 25 can be considered a wipe. My computer is about a year and a half old. Core 2 Duo E6750, Geforce 8800 GTS, 2 gig ram. It's starting to show it's age a bit but still capable.
Please provide us with a link to a WWS or WMO parse from a recent raid you've attended. WMO parse for my guild. (Please note: a WWS or WMO parse is a critical, integral part of your application. We need to see parses from MODERN content (no VoA bosses, please!))Here are some recent WoL parses from 10 and 25 ICC, with me healing in each one.

I'm either healing as Enilno or my pally alt Escutcheon.
Why are you applying to JWI? I know second hand from a couple of guildies that you guys are solid. I've always respected your progression and attitude. A couple of TG alums are already there, so it seemed like I would be able to fit in well.
